Steel Magnolia Joins CW Fashion Show & Concert

Joe Nichols, Danny Gokey, Bucky Covington and Joey+Rory, among others, to raise funds for Musicians On Call.

Stand back . . . we're not sure how big this thing is going to get!

Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music nominees Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones—better known as Steel Magnolia—have joined the performance lineup for the Fifth Annual Country Weekly Fashion Show & Concert, which will take place June 7 at Nashville's Rocketown.

The duo joins previously announced performer and country star Joe Nichols. "The Country Weekly Fashion Show is a fun way to kick off Music Fest," says Joe. "Music fans can sit back, relax and see their favorite artists doing something a little different. Of course, some have that catwalk fashion show strut down a little better than others! But no matter who struts their stuff better, it's always a fun evening of music and fashion."

Additional participants include Danny Gokey, Bucky Covington, Joey+Rory, Ty Herndon, Sarah Darling, Burns & Poe, Tiffany, Katie Armiger, Joanna Smith, LoCash Cowboys, Carter’s Chord, Ashley Gearing, Danielle Peck, Stealing Angels, Margaret Durante and James Wesley, among others.

The event, which will be emceed by GAC's Suzanne Alexander, will benefit Musicians On Call, a nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to patients in health-care facilities.

General admission tickets are on sale at ticketmaster.com for $30 and a few VIP tickets are available for $75 and $125 at musiciansoncall.org. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show will start at 9 p.m.

Sponsors for the event include Wrangler, Durango, Roper, U by Kotex and Flavour Clothing.
