In what has become a highly-controversial incident from the MTV Awards show,, West interrupted Taylor as she delivered her acceptance speech for Best Female Video, "You Belong With Me." West felt that R&B star Beyonce' deserved to win for her video, "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)." The crowd booed Kanye after his outburst and several stars have since criticized him for his actions. Taylor's fellow country stars have now taken aim at West in various Tweet messages.

Kellie Pickler:
"Tater Tot, you handled yourself with grace. Kanye, go grow some . . . balls. I apologize for my language."

Blake Shelton: "Sorry, y'all, but we're just a little bit protective of Taylor Swift around here! Hey Kanye . . . by around here, I mean the world!! Moron . . . "

Brad Paisley: "Poor Kanye. So shy, so humble, such a class act. What, doesn't anyone like him? I mean, come on! Just kidding, of course. He's a total . . . xxxx."

Reba McEntire:
"So proud of Taylor winning last night at the VMAs! Way to go girl! Lesson to all of us to keep a firm grip on the microphone."

Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts:
"Who is Kanye West?"
