Stars Rally for Fashion for EveryBody

Dean Brody and Emily West hosted the Fashion for EveryBody event, Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Commodore Ballroom in Nashville to raise funds for the Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee.

The New York-style fashion show featured models of all body types in fashions from local Nashville stores and boutiques. Dean, who had a big hit earlier this year with "Brothers," told Country Weekly that he had a special interest in the event.
"My wife for years had struggled with eating disorders," the Canadian singer explained. "When she was a kid, she was in dance and that was probably the catalyst. A lot of the girls are expected to be real thin. She has definitely conquered it but it is always a battle." Emily, who performed her song "Pretty Girl" especially for the occasion, was also pleased to be on board. "Our society is so image conscious, and it is amazing to see how many women, in particular, are affected by eating disorders. This is very cool to be a part of."
