Stars Play Freedom Festival

Montgomery Gentry, Lee Ann Womack and Phil Vassar will headline the sixth annual American Freedom Festival in Fairfax, Va., on Nov. 7.

The event is co-sponsored by the National Guard and Outback Steakhouse, and will be broadcast to more than 350 military bases in over 170 countries around the world. "We are very excited that these great artists have agreed to join us in our efforts to help veterans and their families," said American Freedom Foundation co-founder and Sergeant Major of the Army Jack L. Tilley (Ret.). "They are known for their patriotism and love for our military and are a great fit for our event.” Tickets are available through Ticketmaster outlets. The American Freedom Foundation offers aid to veterans’ organizations, focusing on issues facing those wounded in action, disabled vets, and families of veterans killed in action during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
