STARS GEAR UP FOR SOUND & SPEED

Trace Adkins, Josh Turner, Jo Dee Messina and more stars will participate in the second annual Sprint Sound & Speed Presented by SunTrust, Jan. 12 and 13 in Nashville.

The event brings together the top drivers from NASCAR along with the biggest names in country music for two days of autograph signing, fan Q&A sessions and a concert from the Gaylord Entertainment Center. Among the NASCAR drivers scheduled to attend are Kyle Petty, Michael Waltrip and Ryan Newman. Josh Turner, Jo Dee Messina and Rodney Atkins will perform at the Jan. 13 Goody’s Country Concert. Sprint Sound & Speed Presented by SunTrust benefits the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and the Victory Junction Gang Camp for children with serious illnesses. Tickets are $20 for the Sound & Speed festival and $35 for the Goody’s Country Concert and are available at ticketmaster.com. Each ticket purchased for either the festival or the concert will include a one-year subscription to Country Weekly.
