SOUTHERN RAIN FOLLOW-UP TO BE BILLY RAY'S LAST?

Billy Ray Cyrus addressed rumors that he's either taking a year off or retiring on his website by saying, "Rumors are just that - rumors. Tell [my fans] to come out and enjoy the rest of the tour and not worry about next year."

However, tried-and-true fans may have something to worry about soon.

Cyrus says he plans to continue filming more episodes of "Doc" throughout the winter, and is planning a follow-up album to "Southern Rain," -- but it may be his last.

Billy Ray is reportedly frustrated, feeling that his music isn't being given the opportunities it deserves. He will wait until this next project is finished and wait for the response, however, before making a final decision about his future.
