SONGWRITING A FAMILY AFFAIR FOR TIM MCGRAW

In the past, Tim McGraw has recorded mostly other people's songs-but on his upcoming record, he'll include some of his own compositions. "Country Music Digest" reported that on one song, Tim even teamed up with his wife, Faith Hill, and two of their daughters. Tim said he was very impressed by his oldest daughter Gracie's songwriting skills, and thinks she has a future in the family business. Tim also recently told columnist Marilyn Beck that after the experience he had singing with rapper Nelly, he's open to collaborating with other artists. "I'd love to do a song with (Bruce) Springsteen," said Tim. "He would be my ultimate choice to work with."
