Songwriter Dallas Davidson, a member of the famed “Peach Pickers” circle of Music Row writers, was arrested in Nashville overnight for disorderly conduct and public intoxication following a bar fight.

Reports have surfaced that Dallas was challenging patrons at the Tin Roof, a Nashville bar located near the Music Row area, and screaming obscenities along with racial and homophobic slurs.

Police reports show that Dallas was unsteady on his feet and smelled of alcohol. He was booked around 3 a.m. Thursday morning (July 10).

Dallas has co-written several No. 1 hits, including “All About Tonight” by Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum’s “We Owned the Night” and “That’s My Kind of Night” by Luke Bryan.

In 2012, he received the Songwriter of the Year award from the Academy of Country Music.
