Softball Challenge Teams Announced

The teams and players have been announced for the 18th Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge presented by Gibson Foundation, June 4, at Nashville’s Greer Stadium.

The annual game is one of the kickoff events to CMA Music Festival, which takes place June 5–8 in downtown Nashville. Playing for the Opry Live team are Carrie Underwood, Phil Vassar, Vince Gill, Luke Bryan, members of the Tennessee Titans NFL team and others. The rival AfterMidNite With Blair Garner squad features Joe Nichols, Keith Anderson, Chuck Wicks, Sara Evans and other stars. The game raises money for City of Hope, a leading research and treatment institution for cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
