Single Chris Young Doesn’t Look for Love on the Road

No girls are allowed on the tour bus: “I’m really focused on work.”

Yes, Chris Young is a single, sexy guy, and yes, lots of his songs are about love and—dare we say—lust.

And yes, some of his female fans have made some overtures on the road.

“There have been suggestive signs at my shows before. It doesn't suck,” he tells CountryWeekly.com, laughing. “If girls had signs that said, ‘Hey, your music’s good but stay away from me,’ that probably wouldn’t be as much fun.”

But, Chris says he is unlikely to hook up romantically when he’s on tour. There’s a rule that no girls are allowed on the tour bus. And Chris says he has stopped hanging out at nearby clubs after shows.

On the road, he says, “I’m really focused on work.” When girls approach him to try to get him to unfocus, “usually,” he says, “I shrug it off with a ‘thank you very much.’”
