Sherrié Austin had a scare this week when she fainted after arriving in Nevada for series of scheduled performances. She was taken to the hospital, but it turned out to be little more than vertigo caused by an ear infection.

"I'm feeling very rock-starish today with all my drugs," Sherrié joked to the Associated Press about all the meds she's taking to combat the infection. "My bedside table is full of all kinds of interesting things."

The sexy singer from Down Under couldn't perform on Tuesday but expected to complete her run of performances through Sunday before heading back to Nashville.

"The show must go on, dizzy artist or not," she said. "I don't have time to be a sick girl."
