Shania Giddyups Into Vegas

Shania Twain’s first-ever Las Vegas residency doesn’t kick off until Dec. 1, but the superstar is already making a grand entrance, literally hoofing it down the famous Las Vegas Strip.

To announce her arrival at Caesars Palace, the home of her new two-year showroom spectacle, Shania: Still the One, the Canadian princess trotted down the glitzy Strip on horseback. But this being Vegas, where nothing is done small, 39 other horses also accompanied her, halting traffic in front of Caesars' famous fountains.

"A great pleasure to be able to ride in here on my welcome day on a horse," Shania told the crowd after dismounting. "It's one of my favorite things to do."

Check out the video below, look for a review of Shania: Still the One in an upcoming issue of Country Weekly, and find out where Shania ranked in our poll of country's most beautiful women in our Nov. 26 issue, on stands Monday.
