Shania Twain and Taylor Swift—or should we say Thelma and Louise? Either way, it's a dynamic duo. Shania and Taylor joined forces to film a video parody of the popular movie, Thelma & Louise, which will serve as the opening segment for the 2011 CMT Music Awards telecast, Wednesday night, June 8, on CMT at 8 p.m. ET.

The two appear in a vintage convertible, joined by Glee co-star Chord Overstreet. The video was shot in Thompson’s Station, Tenn., near Nashville.

The CMT Music Awards honors the year's best music videos in a variety of categories, including Music Video of the Year. Kid Rock will host the show, which will include performances by Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Sugarland and others.
