Sexy Julianne Turns Up the Heat

Julianne Hough surprised lots of folks over the weekend with some pole dancing, swinging as well as bumping and grinding at a free outdoor show on the riverfront in Nashville.

The TV dancer-turned-country singer pranced around stage Saturday night (July 3) in a short dress, then short shorts and, at one point, a leotard that let audience members get a sneak peek at her cheeks. “This is really Julianne coming out,” she told Country Weekly afterward.

“I feel like the last record, I gotta tiptoe around some things, I’m kind of holding back a little bit of who I am,” she says.

“This time around, I’m like, screw it. I’m Julianne, and I’m gonna have a set, I’m gonna have quick changes and I’m gonna dance around in little shorts. And I’m gonna be me and still stay true to country music.”

A sexier, sassier Julianne?

“That is me. A lot of people know that from the show [Dancing With the Stars].”

Meanwhile, Julianne fans can now hear her new single, "Is That So Wrong?," at country radio, a song she says is more mature and edgy.

“I wrote it after a breakup,” she says. “You don’t always want a boyfriend or girlfriend, you just want someone to be there and hold you.”
