Set Yer DVRs: CMA Music Fest Highlights Hit ABC Aug. 12

Little Big Town hosts three-hour special, which includes several rock and pop performances.

This year’s TV highlights reel from CMA Music Festival will be a little bit country, a little bit rock ’n’ roll—and a little bit pop.

ABC has set Aug. 12 as the date to air CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock, three hours of the best peformances from the four-day CMA Music Fest, held last month in Nashville.

And this might be the most diverse highlights show ever.

Yes, there will be the biggest country stars, including Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, The Band Perry, Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum and Zac Brown Band.

But the network also promises highlights of appearances by rockers Lenny Kravitz and Kid Rock, pop star Jason Mraz and pop-and-country stars Kelly Clarkson and Sheryl Crow.

Interesting, ain’;t it?

The show airs at 8 p.m. ET Aug. 12 on ABC. Little Big Town hosts.
