Scotty McCreery to Sing During Disney Christmas Day Special

The special airs on ABC on Christmas Day.

Scotty McCreery will join fellow American Idol alum Jennifer Hudson and The Voice's Cee Lo Green in The Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade, a special that will air on ABC Dec. 25.

Scotty, Cee Lo and Jennifer taped their segments on Friday (Dec. 2). Scotty, who recently performed on CMA Country Christmas, taped the upbeat Christmas classic "Holly Jolly Christmas" for the Disney special, according to tweets from a Disney Parks tour guide.

Apparently it took this year's American Idol winner a few times to get the song just right. "We're now on the 3rd time watching Scotty Mccreery sing Holly Jolly Christmas. Not really for me lol," the guide tweeted. After a fourth take, Scotty's song was complete.

The Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade apparently also includes a finale by Jennifer Hudson, who will be accompanied by a full gospel choir and a grand fireworks display to round out the show.
