American Idol winner Scotty McCreery, who sang Saturday night (June 11) with Josh Turner at CMA Music Fest, has found an unusual place to meet his heroes.

“I was in the bathroom (at the CMT Music Awards) and someone was singing, and I’m like, ‘Who’s this cat in there singing?’” the 17-year-old told reporters. “And it was Keith Urban. So we met in the bathroom like that. We washed hands before we shook hands,” he said, and the press room broke out laughing.

“I met Little Jimmy Dickens yesterday in the bathroom at the Opry,” he added. “I’m gonna start hanging out [in the bathroom], see who I run into. Everybody goes to the bathroom!”
