Scotty McCreery will be attending his high school graduation as a CMT Music Awards winner. Scotty won the USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year for "The Trouble With Girls" Wednesday night (June 6), in Nashville.

But he won't have much time to celebrate. Right after the awards show, Scotty will fly back to his home in Garner, N.C., to attend his graduation from Garner High School on Thursday.

“We took a plane up here [Nashville] this morning with some friends that were in my high school and were in the video,” Scotty told CountryWeekly.com before the awards. “I’ll be flying back home tonight, graduating in the morning and then we'll fly back either Thursday night or Friday morning for the rest of CMA Music Festival.”

Scotty's parents and his sister Ashley were also flying back to North Carolina from Nashville with him. It makes for a hectic time, but Scotty’s used to the pace. “This whole year has been that way—back and forth and you never know where you’re going," Scotty said with a laugh.
