GARTH'S BOXED SET . . .
GETTING CLOSER
GETTING CLOSER
The highly anticipated Garth Brooks boxed set appears to be getting closer to reality. Garth has filmed a series of TV commercials for the album, which is being sold exclusively through Wal-Mart stores. Now, according to the chief marketing officer of Wal-Mart, a huge blowout ad campaign will get underway on Nov. 1. Also, the weeks before Thanksgiving will carry "music-laden advertising" featuring Garth. The country megastar has not released an album since Scarecrow in 2001. The buzz around the industry is that the new album will likely be a multi-CD project with an accompanying DVD and will include Garth's current song, "Good Ride Cowboy," his tribute to the late Chris LeDoux.
