CMA HONORS CHRIS LeDOUX

Country Music Association (CMA) Board Chairman and co-host of the CMA Awards telecast Kix Brooks will present the CMA's Award of Merit to the late Chris LeDoux, who died this past year. "Chris embodied everything that's great about country music," said Kix. "He lived with passion, integrity and a commitment to big dreams." To further honor Chris, Kix is enlisting Chris' good friend Garth Brooks to perform his new single, "Good Ride Cowboy," on the CMA Awards show, Nov. 15. The song is a personal tribute to Chris, who passed away in March after a battle with cancer. The CMA Awards telecast is set for Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
