FAITH HILL:
MODERN-DAY TAMMY WYNETTE

According to John Rich, Faith Hill is the modern-day reincarnation of a country legend. John, who co-wrote Faith's recent hit, "Mississippi Girl," recently attended a No. 1 party for the song at the Nashville headquarters of the performance rights organization ASCAP. "I'm a Faith Hill fan," John told Westwood One. "[She's] the modern-day Tammy Wynette for me. I'm too young to have ever gone to a Tammy Wynette concert. I've been to some Faith Hill concerts. I'm in awe of her."
