SONGWRITER FOR FAITH HILL
JOINS FAITH ON OPRAH

Faith Hill has faith in singer/songwriter Lori McKenna-so much so that she recorded three of Lori's songs on her new album, Fireflies, thrusting the Boston singer/songwriter into a spotlight that helped her get a record deal at Faith's recording home, Warner Bros. And now the spotlight will shine even brighter on Lori, when she and Faith will be the only two guests on an upcoming Oprah Winfrey Show, airing Sept. 29. According to The Boston Herald, the show, which taped Sept. 1, follows Lori home to Stoughton, Mass., and even films the mother of four doing laundry. Both Faith and Lori were interviewed and sang for Oprah's Chicago studio audience. Writers at the paper suggest that this Oprah appearance could make Lori "the biggest thing to come out of the Boston folk scene since Joan Baez became a Time magazine cover girl 43 years ago."
