Sara Evans has settled with the former nanny who sued her for defamation, agreeing to pay $500,000.
During her long and tumultuous divorce from Craig Schelske in 2007, Sara had accused Alison Clinton Lee of having had an affair with him. Alison and husband Chris Lee filed suit that April. Sara’s divorce was finalized later that year, and she has since remarried.
