Sara To Perform At Tree Lighting Ceremony

Sara Evans will help the White House kick off the holiday season when she performs at the 84th Annual Lighting of the National Christmas Tree in Washington, D.C., Thursday night, Dec. 6.

President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush will be on hand to continue the tree lighting tradition begun in 1923 by President Calvin Coolidge. During the ceremony, Sara will perform "Silent Night," "O Come All Ye Faithful" and "Go Tell It on the Mountain," accompanied by the United States Air Force Band and the St. Albans and National Cathedral Schools choirs.
