Sara’s son Avery walked her down the aisle, preceded by her two daughters, Olivia and Audrey. Jay’s four children from a previous marriage and Sara’s children were the only attendants, and collectively gave their parents away. The ceremony featured Nashville songwriter Marcus Hummon, singing the tune he co-wrote for Rascal Flatts, “God Bless the Broken Road.” Christian minister Joe Beam, who actually introduced Sara and Jay to each other, performed the ceremony. Sara wore a Vera Wang gown with a halter neck while Jay sported a Dolce & Gabbana suit. Guests, who included pop star Sheryl Crow, dined on Southern fried chicken, biscuits and other down-home delicacies. Sara and Jay enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife to Chris Brown’s “With You.” The couple became engaged in March. “It was hard for me to believe that he was real and that he loves me the way he loves me,” Sara told People. “I thank God many times a day for bringing me Jay.”
