Yes, CMA Music Fest kicked off last night (June 9), but the pressroom was filled with chatter about the CMT Music Awards the night before.
Turns out Sara Evans’ daughters screamed for 30 seconds straight when she told them she met teen pop heartthrob Justin Bieber. To prove it, Sara played a video of the screaming from her cell phone.
“I made a complete fool of myself going up to him, but it was so worth it,” Sara said.
“It was so awkward. I had this teeny little short dress on, and I bent down to meet him. It was really weird,” Sara said, adding that she told Justin, “I have to get a picture with you.”
One more step to go in their relationship: Sara still has to score an autograph for her kids.
