Sara Evans’ 2012 Election Reaction: “This SUCKS!”

Joe Nichols says, “No matter who you voted for, let’s come together and stop hating each other.”

Several country stars tweeted reactions to President Obama's victory over Gov. Mitt Romney, the loudest coming from Sara Evans.

"I am completely in shock right now! This SUCKS!" Sara wrote. "Where is this country heading? We might as well prepare for a million trillion $ in debt!"

Most other reactions were a little more conciliatory, even from artists like The Oak Ridge Boys and John Rich, who openly supported Governor Romney.

John Rich posted, "What a night, huh?"

And The Oaks posted congratulations to the president, adding, "We move on . . . God Bless America The greatest country on earth!! Let's SING!!!”

Miranda Lambert joined the message of unity.

"Im always proud everytime [sic] I see red, white, and blue no matter what!" she posted. "#proudtobeanamerican (and a texan) :)"

And Joe Nichols added, "No matter who you voted for, let's come together and stop hating each other. We're in this together."

Martina McBride couldn't help but note the amount of money spent by the candidates: "I just hope, 4 yrs from now, they find a way to campaign without spending roughly 5 BILLION $! That money could help a lot of kids. Just sayin."

Oh, and CMT Radio Live host Cody Alan was disappointed with the results, but not for the reason you might think.

"I was hoping to look at Ann Romney for the next four years," Cody posted. "She's still a hot tamale."
