Sara Asked to Answer to Affairs

A court document filed this past week is asking Sara Evans to answer questions about allegations of extramarital affairs and other matters, reports the Sept. 8 edition of Nashville’s daily newspaper The Tennessean.

The document, filed by attorneys for Sara’s estranged husband Craig Schelske, asks the country star to admit to affairs or romantic relationships with several people, including fellow entertainer Kenny Chesney, pop singer/songwriter Richard Marx and Sara’s former partner on the TV series Dancing With the Stars, Tony Dovolani. The court filings provide no evidence that Sara actually had relationships or affairs with any of the named persons. Sara has not responded to the allegations, and her attorney did not comment because of a court-mandated gag order. The documents do not state when Sara and her attorneys must respond. Sara filed for divorce from Schelske Oct. 12, 2006.
