SARA’S HUSBAND DENIES LATEST CHARGE

Sara Evans’ husband denies that he demanded she fire the attorney representing her in the couple’s divorce.

In a Feb. 26 Williamson County court filing Monday, Craig Schelske refuted Sara’s claim that he threatened to turn their already ugly divorce proceedings into “World War III” if she didn’t fire her attorney, publicly clear his name and agree to a joint child custody agreement. Craig also claimed that Sara has told him that she was “mistaken” in believing the nude photographs she says that she discovered on his computer were of him, and that she assured him she would issue a public statement to that effect. No such statement has been forthcoming. Sara’s Friday filing stated that Craig “has engaged in a pattern of intimidating behavior in an effort to extort Ms. Evans into making decisions that are clearly not in her best interest.”
