SAMMY & LORRIE SAFE AFTER STALKER ARREST

Sammy Kershaw and Lorrie Morgan are breathing a sigh of relief now that a man was arrested in Nashville on charges of stalking, threatening rape and personal harm to the entire family. "We are relieved to know that the police were able to apprehend this man before any of his threats were acted upon," said Lorrie. "There is nothing scarier than to know your family's safety is in danger." According to The Tennessean, Adrian K. Washington, 20, worked for Sammy and Lorrie in their Nashville restaurant, Hot Chickens.com. Sammy said a man he believes is Washington left three anonymous threatening messages on Lorrie's daughter's cell phone Monday night. Sammy answered the phone when it rang again, and the guy on the other end started threatening Sammy in what turned out to be an hour-long conversation. Sammy said he never backed down. "''He told me, 'You don't know who you're (messing) with.' And I said, 'No, YOU don't know who YOU'RE (messing) with,'" Sammy said. Washington was being held under $10,000 bond on misdemeanor charges of stalking and harassment.
