Rodney Atkins Will Perform at National Christmas Tree Lighting
Rodney Atkins will help America get into the Christmas spirit when he performs as part of the 2011 National Christmas Tree Lighting on Thursday, Dec. 1. The event will be held at President's Park in Washington, D.C.
Television personality Carson Daly will host and OneRepublic and Marsha Ambrosius will perform as well. Phil Vassar performed during the National Christmas Tree Lighting in 2008, as did Ricky Skaggs in 2005.

“I have watched the devastation in my home state of Oklahoma over the past several days with great sadness,” Carrie said.
“Hope he is the one Jesus comes back on,” heartbroken country star tweets.
“Country’s Night to Rock” airs on ABC, Aug. 12.
“Ring of Fire” tells the story of the woman who married The Man in Black.
