Rodney Atkins Honors Military With America’s Heroes Celebration Weekend

Rodney set to entertain at Jekyll Island, Ga., Aug. 16-18.

Rodney Atkins is stepping up for United States military personnel as he headlines a cool weekend of fun and music, Rodney Atkins' America's Heroes Celebration Weekend, Aug. 16–18, in Jekyll Island, Ga. The three-day event is being held at the Jekyll Island Convention Center.

Following two days of beach-party music from various artists, including Dean Torrence from the legendary duo Jan & Dean, Rodney will wrap up the weekend with with his performance on Sunday night, Aug. 18. Rodney will include some new material from his upcoming album, scheduled for release soon, along with favorites like "Take a Back Road," "These Are My People" and other hits. Rodney's show will be dedicated to active duty members and veterans from all military branches.
