Rodney Atkins Gets Engaged, Shooter Jennings Gets Married

Big relationship milestones for male stars.

Through a little social media detective work, it seems congratulations are in order for both Rodney Atkins and Shooter Jennings on their new relationship milestones.

While not officially confirmed, it appears that Rodney has popped the question to fellow country singer Rose Falcon. Fellow artist Krystal Keith (and Rose's label mate) sent them her best wishes on Twitter on June 5.

"@KrystalKeith thanks girly!! Congrats on ur single!!!" said Rose in response.

Rodney filed for divorce from his first wife, Tammy, after a domestic dispute between the two ended with Rodney in jail. Tammy had accused Rodney of trying to smother her with a pillow, but Rodney was cleared of any wrongdoing and ordered into treatment for anger and alcohol issues. The two are parents to one son, Elijah.

In Shooter's case, the Outlaw progeny looks to have been married to Misty Swain on June 4 at an undisclosed location. A photo on Shooter's Instagram feed showed a label mimicking the Jack Daniel's bottle design with the names Misty & Shooter underneath Jennings. The message on the posting says, "@misty_brooke I love you." Shooter was previously engaged to actress Drea de Matteo, with whom he has two children, Alabama Gypsy Rose and Waylon Albert "Blackjack" Jennings.

Congratulations to both couples on these big milestones!
