Rodney Atkins and Rose Falcon Marry in Florida

Couple exchange vows in beachside ceremony.

Rodney Atkins and Rose Falcon officially became husband and wife over the weekend.

Sunday, Nov. 10, the happy couple exchanged vows during an intimate beachside ceremony on Captiva Island in Florida in front of 20 guests, including Rodney’s son Elijah, who served as best man. Longtime family friend Charles Hutchins officiated the wedding. Charles is the founder of Holston United Methodist Home for Children, where Rodney spent his infancy before being adopted.

The day before the ceremony, friends and family were treated to a day of fishing in the beautiful waters surrounding Captiva Island, which Rodney and Rose stumbled upon not too long ago, deciding it was the perfect location for their big day.

Rose crafted many of the wedding decorations herself, including wedding programs made of CD cases and a handmade bracelet for each female guest. Male guests each received a custom hat to match the baseball cap worn by the groom.

Rodney and Rose will return to Nashville this week to resume touring on Rodney's More Hits for Your Money Tour, also featuring Frankie Ballard.
