The event raises funds and awareness for Minnesota's fallen military heroes and their families. Rockie, whose hits include "Lipstick" and "Do We Still," is one of the founders of this event and participates as a motorcycle rider all three days. On Sunday, Sept. 13, Rockie performs a concert with special guests Jacob Martin and the group Redpath. Since its inception in 2004, Tribute to the Troops has visited more than 60 families throughout Minnesota who have lost a loved one during military service.
