Rich Writes Tune for McCain
John Rich of Big & Rich plans to debut a tune he has written for presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain, “Raisin’ McCain,” at the Country First Concert in Panama City, Fla., Aug. 1.

McCain is scheduled to be in attendance at the concert. John tells The Associated Press that he finished writing the song about a month ago and sent it to McCain’s daughter Meghan, who passed it on to campaign officials. “I wanted to offer him something that he didn’t have, a rally song, one that really captures that maverick spirit,” John explains. John will offer the song on his website, johnrich.com, free of charge.
