A few months after telling a San Francisco magazine he’s making a country album, Eagles drummer/vocalist Don Henley is in Nashville doing just that, MusicRow magazine reports.

Henley is in Music City with another rocker, Stan Lynch of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers.

“Stan is one of my best friends, my son’s godfather,” Henley tells San Francisco magazine Diablo. “We work together often and are currently co-producing my next album, which will be a collection of country songs—originals and covers.”

MusicRow reports that Ronnie Dunn and Alison Krauss might be making appearances on that album.
