Reese Witherspoon Heads to CMA Awards

Actress Reese Witherspoon has been announced as the first presenter for The 42nd Annual CMA Awards show, Nov. 12, in Nashville.

Reese received an Oscar for her portrayal of June Carter Cash in the movie, Walk the Line. She previously appeared on the CMA Awards show in 2005, when she presented an award with her Walk the Line co-star, Joaquin Phoenix. In other CMA Awards news, Rodney Atkins and Kellie Pickler have been added to the performing lineup for the telecast. The 42nd Annual CMA Awards airs live from the Sommet Center in Nashville, Nov. 12, on ABC-TV at 8 p.m. ET.
