REBA'S ROASTED

According to The Tennessean, Reba McEntire celebrated her 50th birthday in Music City last Monday, at a surprise party thrown by her husband, Narvel Blackstock, at the Jack Daniel's Club at the Gaylord Entertainment Center. Among those who roasted and sang for Reba were Terri Clark, Brooks & Dunn's Ronnie Dunn, Vince Gill and Steve Wariner. The stars played in a house band that also featured Tony Brown, Reba's longtime producer and label chief, on keyboards. At the party, each roaster started his or her speech in a secret room to the side of the stage and kept talking until Reba recognized the speaker. Apparently, Vince's little-girl impersonation was the best of the fake voices.
