REBA SUBS FOR ALABAMA

When Alabama's lead singer Randy Owen got sick just before a gig at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, he knew who to call -- his longtime pal Reba McEntire. Reba stepped in to perform at the show when Randy was forced to cancel two days earlier because of his bout with a severe form of acute labyrinthitis, a viral syndrome of the inner ear. Randy's not in the hospital but doctors advised him not to travel or perform until he's well. Like the true professional she is, Reba brought the house down with her biggest hits and songs from her new album, Room To Breathe.
