REBA NOT PUTTING HER GUN UP YET

Reba McEntire says goodbye to Broadway today (Friday, June 22nd). The redheaded artist has been playing the lead role in "Annie Get your Gun" since January when she immediately wowed audiences and critics alike with her portrayal of the title character. Reba's Broadway run as the feisty, gun-toting Western heroine generated over $500,000 dollars per week at the box office, and though the show has come to close, it looks as though the star will reprise her Annie Oakley role on the small screen. CBS plans on airing a made-for-TV film version of "Annie Get Your Gun" starring the popular Reba some time next year.
