Ray Price Shares Great News: Pancreatic Cancer Still In Remission

Ray Price shared some great news with fans yesterday (Feb. 8). The 86-year-old Country Music Hall of Famer, who has been battling pancreatic cancer since 2012, released a statement saying that his cancer was still in remission following treatment.

“Janie and I want to thank all of you for your love and support,” said Ray in the statement. “It has been your prayers that have lifted me up and carried me through this entire treatment process. YOUR VOICES HAVE BEEN HEARD IN HIGH PLACES! My doctors and treatment team just shake their heads in amazement every time I leave there with good news.”

Ray also noted that he would be entering a physical rehabilitation program to rebuild his strength and resume touring soon. According to Pollstar, his next show is scheduled for Feb. 22 in Biloxi, Miss.
