The trio––Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus––was able to make the festival as they were in town recording a new album. Gary also told Neil Haislop’s Nashville IQ that the group enjoyed having teen sensation Taylor Swift tour with them. “Taylor is absolutely a bright spot in the business and she’s amazing––great songwriter, great performer. She can’t drink with us, which is a little depressing. We had to lose our Coors sponsorship . . . just kidding!”
