Rascal Flatts' new CD, Me and My Gang, hits stores Tuesday, April 4.

The CD features the trio's unique brand of pop-tinged country, which apparently worries some purists but certainly not their fans. "I guess you've got to start with what's the standard by which you measure what country music is," group member Jay DeMarcus told the Los Angeles Times. "And then, once everybody figures that out, then we can say what's country and what's not." Jay went on to point out, "We're not the first to bring change into country music." Me and My Gang includes the current Rascal Flatts hit, "What Hurts the Most." Be sure to catch the third part of Country Weekly's exclusive interviews with each group member, as Joe Don Rooney takes the spotlight in the April 24 issue, on sale April 10.
