Rascal Flatts, Jamie Foxx Team Up on CMAs

Rascal Flatts will welcome Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx as a guest vocalist on The 41st Annual CMA Awards show on ABC-TV, Nov. 7, at 8 p.m. ET.

The trio, nominated for both Entertainer and Vocal Group of the Year honors, will open the star-studded show with “Still Feels Good,” the title track from their current CD. Later in the telecast, they’ll be joined by Foxx on “She Goes All the Way,” written by group members Gary LeVox, Jay De Marcus and Joe Don Rooney. “Jamie is an incredible talent and we were thrilled he took us up on our invitation to join us on the song,” says Gary. Jay adds, “We sent the song to him early this year and he said he’s love to do it.” Gary and Jamie, who won the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Ray Charles in the film Ray, were roommates for a brief time in the late 1990s when Gary was pursuing a music career in Los Angeles.
