Rascal Flatts to Host Moving Holiday Special

Great musical performances and touching stories of adoption will combine for an entertaining seasonal special, A Home for the Holidays With Rascal Flatts, airing on CBS Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 8 p.m. ET. Rascal Flatts—Jay DeMarcus, Gary LeVox and Joe Don Rooney—will host the special and also perform.

The annual program, which in past years has been hosted by Faith Hill, features American families telling the inspirational stories of how adoption has affected and enhanced their lives. Musical performances accompany several of the story segments, which are introduced by celebrities who have their own adoption experience or are involved in adoption programs.

Melissa Etheridge, Matchbox Twenty, Rachel Crow and Phillip Phillips are also set to perform. Rachel, a 14-year-old recording artist and X Factor finalist, will share her own personal story of foster care adoption in addition to performing.
