Sheryl Crow will start opening shows for Rascal Flatts in a couple of weeks (May 16), and the guys are pumped.

Jay DeMarcus told reporters, “We are, we’re very excited about that. We’ve been a fan of Sheryl’s for a long, long time and she’s just a wonderful, talented person and we’re gonna have a lotta fun.”

In fact, Jay says they’ll do some rehearsing with Sheryl to see if they can work something out to do together for the concerts.

And there’s one more thing the guys hope to do with Sheryl.

“It’s gonna be nice to be around her and soak up some of that energy and some of that creativity, and hopefully jump on one of her buses and write a few tunes ourselves,” Jay says.
