RASCAL FLATTS HEADS TOWARD HISTORY
Rascal Flatts new CD, Me and My Gang, sold more copies its first day of release than their previous CD, Feels Like Today, did in its first week.
Me and My Gang sold in excess of 250,000 copies on its release date, Tuesday, April 4, while Feels Like Today saw first-week sales of slightly more than 200,000. At this rate, Rascal Flatts could break the record held by the Dixie Chicks for first-week sales by a country group. The first single from the CD, ÂWhat Hurts the Most, is also the No. 1 song on the Billboard chart.
