Rascal Flatts Goes Back to Club Roots

Rascal Flatts Onstage

Rascal Flatts has sold out stadiums, but Tuesday (Nov. 2) night the country group took it back to the honky-tonk in Printers Alley in Nashville where it all began.

The Fiddle & Steel Guitar Bar is where two guys named Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney first met, and Jay eventually introduced the pretty-boy guitarist to a cousin, one Gary LeVox.

All three played a full set Tuesday night at Fiddle & Steel at a private show for contest winners to help launch the group’s new album—and to celebrate 10 years in the biz. The guys were onstage for nearly two hours.

A front-row fan, 21-year-old Cashea Arrington, posted some pics and a video of part of the song “I Won’t Let Go.”
