RAPPER APOLOGIZES TO GRETCHEN

Rapper Kanye West threw a temper tantrum when he lost to Gretchen Wilson in the Best New Artist category at last month's American Music Awards. So what happened when Kanye and Gretchen were both on hand to announce this year's Grammy nominees in L.A. on Tuesday? Kanye made up for his outburst and apologized to Gretchen. "He just walked up and tapped me on the shoulder," Gretchen told The Tennessean, "bowed his head and said, 'I'm sorry. I just got so mad. I certainly didn't mean to offend you.'" Then Gretchen gave him a hug and now says she wants to invite him to a MuzikMafia performance. Watch the Grammys on Feb. 13 on CBS at 8 p.m. Eastern to see how many trophies both Kanye and Gretchen take home.
